The aim of the project is to develop an autonomous system that allows the university to provide access to equipment and be able to determine accountability for damage to equipment. The project aims to look at the underlying problems, which the university faces, that limit the accessibility of available resources to students. The desired outcome of the project is to develop a system which negates the problems, adds functionality, increases efficiency and provides full accountability.
Technologies Applied: WIFI, BJTs, Radio Frequency, Transceiver, Antenna, Voltage Controller, Digital Power PIC, Transponder and basic circuit components, op amps, ICs.
Theories Applied: Wireless communications, Noise Cancelation and Filtering, Signal conversion, Electronic circuit communication and conversion, Digital processing, Electro-mechanical systems.
